ReBit을 사용함으로써 사용자는 본 이용약관에 동의하게 됩니다.

1. 서비스

ReBit은 iOS용 오디오·영상 반복 재생 및 외국어 학습 도구로 제공됩니다. 사용자는 오디오 또는 영상을 가져와 짧은 구간으로 나누고, 원하는 구간을 반복하고, 메모·즐겨찾기와 학습 기록을 이용하며, 기기 내 스크립트를 생성하고, 청크별로 따라 말하기를 녹음하고, 지원되는 데이터를 선택적으로 iCloud로 동기화할 수 있습니다. ReBit은 무료로 제공되며 광고가 표시될 수 있습니다. 현재 버전에는 유료 기능이나 인앱결제가 없습니다. 앱이 가져오는 자료 개수에 별도의 수량 제한을 두지는 않지만, 기기와 iCloud의 사용 가능한 저장 공간에 따라 실제 이용 가능 용량이 달라질 수 있습니다. 영상은 오디오보다 용량이 훨씬 크므로 저장 공간의 영향을 더 크게 받습니다.

2. 사용자 콘텐츠, 오디오·영상 및 녹음 권리

사용자는 ReBit에서 가져오고, 저장하고, 동기화하고, 재생하고, 처리하고, 공유하는 오디오, 영상 및 기타 콘텐츠에 필요한 권리를 보유해야 합니다. ReBit은 제3자의 오디오, 영상 또는 저작물에 대한 권리를 사용자에게 부여하지 않습니다. 특히 영화·드라마·강의 등 제3자가 제작한 영상은 대부분 저작권으로 보호되므로, 사용자는 본인이 정당한 권리를 가지거나 이용이 허용된 영상만 가져와야 합니다. 사용자는 저작권, 개인정보권, 초상권 또는 제3자의 기타 권리를 침해하는 방식으로 ReBit을 사용해서는 안 됩니다.

사용자가 마이크로 만든 따라 말하기 녹음과 이를 이어붙인 복습파일은 사용자 본인의 콘텐츠이며, 그 저장·보관·공유에 대한 책임은 사용자에게 있습니다. ReBit은 이 녹음을 서버로 전송하거나 사용자 대신 보관하지 않습니다.

3. 기기 내 파일 처리

ReBit은 가져온 파일을 앱 저장 공간에 복사한 뒤 기기 안에서 처리합니다. 영상의 경우 소리를 별도 파일로 추출해 구간 분석에 사용하며, iOS가 바로 재생하지 못하는 형식(예: MKV)은 영상을 다시 인코딩하지 않고 컨테이너 형식만 변경합니다. 지원하지 않는 코덱은 가져오기 단계에서 거부되며 그 이유가 표시됩니다. 이러한 처리는 전부 기기에서 이루어지고 원본 파일은 수정되지 않으며, 처리 결과의 무결성이나 모든 파일과의 호환을 보장하지는 않습니다.

4. AI 생성 스크립트

ReBit은 사용자가 기능을 실행한 경우 기기 내 음성 인식 모델을 사용해 가져온 오디오의 스크립트를 생성할 수 있습니다. AI로 생성된 스크립트에는 오류나 누락이 있을 수 있으며, 음질, 발음, 주변 소음, 선택한 언어와 모델에 따라 결과가 달라질 수 있습니다. 사용자는 생성된 문장을 이용하거나 게시 또는 공유하기 전에 직접 확인할 책임이 있습니다. ReBit은 생성된 스크립트의 완전성, 정확성 또는 특정 목적에 대한 적합성을 보장하지 않습니다.

5. iCloud 동기화

ReBit은 같은 Apple 계정을 사용하는 기기 사이에서 지원되는 데이터(따라 말하기 녹음 포함)를 동기화하기 위해 Apple의 iCloud 및 CloudKit 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다. 동기화는 사용자의 Apple 계정, 네트워크 연결, 사용 가능한 iCloud 저장 공간, 기기 설정과 Apple 서비스 상태에 따라 달라집니다. ReBit은 동기화가 즉시 또는 중단 없이 완료되는 것을 보장하지 않습니다. 사용자는 중요한 원본 오디오, 녹음과 데이터를 별도로 백업할 책임이 있습니다. 한 기기에서 앱을 삭제해도 이전에 iCloud에 동기화된 데이터가 삭제되지 않을 수 있습니다.

6. 광고 및 제3자 서비스

ReBit은 Google AdMob이 제공하는 광고를 표시할 수 있으며, 앱 기능 제공을 위해 Apple iCloud·CloudKit과 제3자 모델 호스팅 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다. 제3자 서비스의 제공 여부와 동작은 각 서비스의 약관, 정책, 네트워크 상태와 지역별 요구사항에 따릅니다. ReBit은 제3자가 운영하는 서비스의 중단이나 변경에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

광고는 배너, 앱 시작 광고, 전면 광고(영상 누적 재생 20분마다), 보상형 광고의 형태로 표시될 수 있습니다. 이 중 일부 선택적 기능(AI 스크립트 생성, 복습 음원 만들기, 내 목소리 복습파일 만들기)은 무료로 이용하기 위해 보상형 광고를 시청해야 할 수 있습니다. 광고 시청은 선택 사항이며, 핵심 재생·반복·녹음 기능은 광고 없이 이용할 수 있습니다.

7. 서비스 변경 및 제공

ReBit은 언제든 업데이트, 변경, 중단 또는 종료될 수 있습니다. 앱 개선, 기술 문제 해결 또는 플랫폼·법적 요구사항 준수를 위해 기능, 지원 형식, 저장 방식, 광고 또는 제공 여부가 변경될 수 있습니다. 개인정보 처리에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변경 사항은 개인정보 처리방침에 반영됩니다.

8. 보증의 부인

ReBit은 “있는 그대로” 및 “사용 가능한 상태”로 제공됩니다. 앱이 항상 중단 없이 작동하거나 오류가 없거나, 모든 파일·기기·iOS 버전과 호환되거나, 음성 인식·녹음과 동기화가 항상 성공한다는 점을 보장하지 않습니다.

9. 책임 제한

관련 법령이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서 ReBit은 앱 사용, 데이터 손실, 부정확한 스크립트, 녹음 손실, 동기화 지연 또는 제3자 서비스 중단으로 발생한 간접적, 부수적, 특별, 결과적 또는 징벌적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다. 본 약관의 어떠한 내용도 관련 법령상 배제할 수 없는 사용자의 권리나 책임을 제한하지 않습니다.

Terms of Use

By using ReBit, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Service

ReBit is provided as an audio and video repetition and language-learning tool for iOS. Users can import audio or video, split it into short sections, repeat selected sections, create notes and favorites, review learning records, generate on-device transcripts, record themselves shadowing individual chunks, and optionally synchronize supported data through iCloud. ReBit is free and may display advertisements. The current version does not offer paid features or in-app purchases. ReBit does not impose a numerical limit on imported files, but use is subject to available device and iCloud storage. Video is far larger than audio and is therefore affected by storage limits much more.

2. User Content, Audio, Video, and Recording Rights

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to import, store, synchronize, play, process, share, and otherwise use any audio, video, or other content within ReBit. ReBit does not grant users rights to third-party audio, video, or other copyrighted content. Films, television, and lectures produced by third parties are in most cases protected by copyright, so users must import only material they own or are otherwise permitted to use. Users must not use ReBit in a way that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights of third parties.

Shadowing recordings the user makes with the microphone, and any review file created by combining them, are the user’s own content, and the user is responsible for their storage, retention, and sharing. ReBit does not transmit these recordings to a server or retain them on the user’s behalf.

3. On-Device File Processing

ReBit copies imported files into its own storage and processes them on the device. For video, it extracts the audio into a separate file for chunk analysis, and for formats iOS cannot play directly (such as MKV) it changes only the container without re-encoding the video. Unsupported codecs are refused at import and the reason is shown. All of this happens on the device and the original file is never modified. ReBit does not guarantee the integrity of the result or compatibility with every file.

4. AI-Generated Transcripts

ReBit can use an on-device speech-recognition model to generate transcripts from imported audio when the user starts the feature. AI-generated transcripts may contain errors or omissions and may vary according to audio quality, pronunciation, background noise, selected language, and model. Users are responsible for reviewing generated text before relying on, publishing, or sharing it. ReBit does not guarantee that generated transcripts are complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

5. iCloud Synchronization

ReBit may use Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services to synchronize supported data — including shadowing recordings — across devices using the same Apple Account. Synchronization depends on the user’s Apple Account, network connection, available iCloud storage, device settings, and Apple’s service availability. ReBit does not guarantee immediate or uninterrupted synchronization. Users are responsible for maintaining backup copies of important original audio, recordings, and other important data. Uninstalling the app from one device may not delete data previously synchronized to iCloud.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

ReBit may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob and may use Apple iCloud, CloudKit, and third-party model hosting services to provide app features. The availability and operation of third-party services are subject to their own terms, policies, network conditions, and regional requirements. ReBit is not responsible for interruptions or changes to services operated by third parties.

Ads may appear as banners, app-open ads, interstitials (after every 20 minutes of cumulative video playback), and rewarded ads. Of these, some optional features (AI transcript generation, review-audio creation, and my-voice review file creation) may require watching a rewarded ad to use them for free. Watching is optional, and core playback, repetition, and recording features are available without ads.

7. Availability and Changes

ReBit may be updated, changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. Features, supported formats, storage behavior, advertising, or availability may change to improve the app, address technical issues, or comply with platform and legal requirements. Material changes affecting privacy will be reflected in the Privacy Policy.

8. No Warranty

ReBit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The provider does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, compatibility with all files and devices, or consistent success with speech recognition, recording, and synchronization.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReBit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, loss of data, inaccurate transcripts, loss of recordings, synchronization delays, or third-party service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
